A game about the historic city of Maastricht. Build up defences, hire soldiers and prepare the walls for four historic sieges.

Maastricht has been occupied by many nations in the past 2000 years. The Romans built a Castellum, a reinforced settlement on the west bank of the Meuse. Over the centuries, the Castellum grew into an influential city, which has been attacked several times… Maastricht was occupied between the 16th and the 19th century, successively by the troops of Philip II of Spain, the State Army led by Frederick Hendrik of Orange, and twice by French armies.

Castellum – Maastricht is a strategic board game for 2 to 4 players, where players collect resources to build fortifications and hire trained troops to defend the city against its attackers. But be careful! You do not just want to protect the city, but also defeat the most prestigious enemies. And through clever tactics, you can lead the attackers to your rivals to better protect your section of the city wall. The people will consider you a hero instead of your rivals!
