Game Brewer is a Belgian board game developing studio and publisher, founded in 2017. We develop board games in-house for the experienced player. Our popular titles include Gugong, Paris, Arkwright: The Card Game, Stroganov, Hippocrates, Rulebenders, Fuji Koro, and more. Our board games are played around the world, thanks to co-operations with local partners and direct sales of our deluxe versions on crowdfunding platforms.

 

To support our steady growth, we want to expand our team of 6 with a representative for our global sales. This is a full-time position, based in Turnhout, Belgium.

 

Job Description

As our Sales Leader, you will be responsible for a varied and extensive work package:

 

  • Maintaining customer relationships with co-publishing partners, distributors, and retailers worldwide. Meeting B2B clients at major conventions worldwide, and negotiating contracts with prospective and current partners.
  • Developing new B2B opportunities, and generating new leads.
  • Creating and presenting sales info proactively to a range of prospective clients. Answering client questions about products, prices, and availability.
  • Participating in game sessions with the development team, to build outstanding product knowledge.
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts. Processing sales orders and invoices.
  • Keeping our B2B and B2C websites up-to-date.
  • Handling customer service tickets from our B2C sales. Answering customers questions on BGG, crowdfunding platforms, and social media.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.

Your key objectives will include:

  • Achieve the sales and margin objectives for our global B2B sales.
  • Ensure correct forecasting and initiate production processes.
  • Customer follow up to ensure that DSO objectives are reached.
  • Expand to new distribution markets to ensure that foreseen growth is achieved.

Profile

  • You are passionate about board games.
  • A postsecondary degree, or 3+ years of relevant commercial experience.
  • A commitment to excellent, punctual customer service.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, results-driven, and hands-on.
  • Can physically travel to our office in Turnhout, Belgium on a daily basis.
  • Excellent general computer skills. Experience with sales and accounting software (Woocommerce, Portal4Sales, Exact Online…) is a plus. Experience with Adobe software is a plus.
  • Excellent English and Dutch communication and writing skills. Knowledge of other languages (German, French, Spanish, Mandarin…) is a plus.
